Times are changing. Beekeeping is becoming more and more popular. The Save the Bee movement is becoming more of a regular topic. Famous celebrities are now jumping onto this practice, and why shouldn't they? One of those most well-known actors who plays the beloved role of Thor in the Marvel Universe, Chris Hemsworth. If he’s worthy of a beehive, then you are too! Pun intended ;)
Both Chris Hemsworth and David Beckham have used the Flow Hive as their preferred method of beekeeping. This is also my preferred method of beekeeping, but the traditional way of beekeeping can be just as honorable. As long as your actively saving those bees, you are on the right track. No stress.
Morgan Freeman, the man with the most soothing voice in history, chose to start his beekeeping adventure because he strives to “resonate” and “become one” with the bees. Freeman explained, "There is a concerted effort for bringing bees back onto the planet…We do not realize that they are the foundation, I think, of the growth of the planet, the vegetation..." is response to the question of why he relates to the bees and chooses to practice beekeeping.

Many celebrities are participating in this practice because of this same reasoning. In addition to this, they also use beekeeping as a therapeutic escape but the constant social demands and obligations that are involved in the celebrity world. So many responsibilities and social image issues are involved in the ‘being famous’ industry. Beekeeping has become a sought out pastime because of the ease of it. You put in the work, and then get honey as your reward. Easy. You build a relationship with the bees, that is comforting and self-evaluating.

Save the bees, so you can save yourself. Celebrity experiences with these beloved creatures are living proof of the benefits of becoming a beekeeper, both physically and mentally.
